The head of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Hetmantsev, reported that Ukrainian special pensioners have won a large sum of money from the Pension Fund. He emphasized that this indicates serious problems in the country's pension system. According to Hetmantsev, the courts decided to pay 35 billion hryvnias in favor of certain privileged pensioners.
Danilo Hetmantsev called for the cancellation of special pensions and the introduction of a cumulative pension system for all. The politician believes that the issue of pension reform needs to be addressed comprehensively but acknowledges that it may face opposition. Currently, the situation with pension reform remains unresolved, and it is important to find compromise solutions for all population groups so that the pension system operates effectively and fairly for all citizens.
