Supermarkets updated prices for cabbage, carrots, and garlic in October.
Over the month, from September to October, prices for main vegetables in Ukraine slightly changed. Moreover, many items in supermarkets became more expensive.

Young cabbage fell in price by 8.2% – from 67.32 UAH to 61.77 UAH per kilogram on average. At the same time, the price of white cabbage practically did not change, slightly increasing from 28.22 UAH to 28.32 UAH per kilogram.
Carrots noticeably became more expensive – the average price rose by 32% from 16.01 UAH to 21.15 UAH per kilogram.
As for garlic, its cost slightly increased. Regular garlic rose in price by 2.2% – from 168.65 UAH to 172.35 UAH per kilogram. The price of young garlic practically did not change, showing a symbolic growth of 0.3% – from 159.47 UAH to 159.90 UAH per kilogram.
Thus, the largest price increase affected carrots, while cabbage, on the contrary, became more affordable. Prices for garlic remained relatively stable.
