Zelensky proposes NATO to finance the Ukrainian army
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that negotiations with NATO have begun regarding the possibility of providing additional funds for the Ukrainian army. He remarked that this is not only an increase in the level of technical support but also an improvement in the material motivation of the military.
We have already started discussing this: NATO may allocate additional funds for our army. Specifically, additional funding to boost the motivation of the military, - noted Zelensky.
The President emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers defend the country not for money, but the influx of additional funds is currently very important. Among the priority issues, Zelensky mentioned the procurement of drones and decent pay for servicemen.
Moreover, the president called on diplomats to seek new ways to support Ukraine and to continue expanding international cooperation.
During a meeting with NATO, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed a proposal for providing additional financial resources for the Ukrainian army, underscoring the importance of supporting the military and procuring modern equipment.Read also
