Sweden will provide military guarantees to Ukraine: what Stockholm promises.
Sweden is ready to assist Ukraine with international support
Sweden promises to help Ukraine ensure its security, particularly by providing military and maritime oversight. This was stated by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in an interview with Aftonbladet, as reported by Freedom.
Ulf Kristersson emphasized the importance of Ukraine being able to defend itself against future Russian attacks but did not specify whether Sweden would send its troops to Ukraine.
'We want to be involved, but this must happen safely and reliably, with a clear understanding of where we are going. As far as I understand, this does not involve deploying large military contingents from other countries to Ukraine, but rather ensuring that Ukraine can independently take responsibility for its security to the extent that Russia no longer dares to repeat aggression,' Kristersson emphasized.
Let us remind you that the 'coalition of the willing' along with the United States is actively working on a list of guarantees that will contribute to ensuring long-term peace in Ukraine after a peace agreement is reached.
Ulf Kristersson supported the idea of assisting Ukraine in ensuring security from potential threats from Russia, but did not specify details regarding possible military intervention. The 'coalition of the willing' is working on guarantees for peace in the region together with the USA.
