David Georgiyevich Arahamiya (also known by the pseudonym David Braun) is a Ukrainian politician, entrepreneur, activist, and volunteer. Secretary of the National Investment Council. Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the IX Congress of the Servant of the People party, chairman of the Servant of the People faction in the IX Congress of the Verkhovna Rada.

Place of Birth. Education. David was born on May 23, 1979, in Russia, in the city of Sochi. He lived for a while in Georgia in Gagra. In 1992, when he fled the war in Abkhazia, he moved with his parents to the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. There he grew up and graduated from secondary school No. 36. He studied economics at the European University.

In March 2014, David Arahamiya and acquaintances together created a website for procuring equipment for paratroopers of the 79th battalion. This marked the start of the volunteer initiative 'People's Project', which helps Ukrainian military personnel in the ATO zone.

In August 2014, he was appointed advisor to the chairman of the Mykolayiv region on volunteer work, in September he became the representative of the Minister of Defense for procurement issues and in October he became an advisor to the Minister of Defense and chairman of the Council of Volunteers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In November 2014, he co-founded the Association of Ukrainian People's Volunteers and became the curator of the 'Volunteer Landing Team' - a group of volunteers who began working in the Ministry of Defense.

In 2016, David Arahamiya launched a new project - the web platform Weblium.

Political Activity. In the parliamentary elections of 2019, he was elected as MP of the Servant of the People party No. 4 on the list. On August 29, 2019, he was elected chairman of the Servant of the People faction of the Verkhovna Rada. In the Verkhovna Rada, he is a member of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.

Awards. For his volunteer work, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the III degree (Decree of the President of Ukraine dated August 23, 2014).

Personal Life. Married for the second time. He has six children.
