As of autumn 2024, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, maintains the highest level of trust among Ukrainians. However, his rating is gradually declining.

51.2% of Ukrainians trust the President, 41.5% do not trust him, and another 7.3% are undecided.

Compared to June 2024, the trust-minus-mistrust balance has decreased from +16.0% to +9.7%. Three months ago, 53.8% of respondents trusted Zelensky, while 37.8% did not.

Meanwhile, a year ago, in September 2023, 74.8% of respondents trusted Zelensky, 18.6% did not, and the balance was +56.2%.

Trust in other politicians

A positive balance is also held by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaly Kim (+11.4%), head of the SBU Vasyl Maliuk (9.2%), and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov (6.7%).

The rest have a negative balance.

The survey was conducted by the Razumkov Center from September 20 to 26, 2024, using face-to-face interviews in all regions of Ukraine, except for temporarily occupied territories and those where active combat operations are ongoing. A total of 2016 respondents were surveyed, and the theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%.

Recall, earlier it was reported that as of 2024, Ukraine has 0.2598 points in the Global Firepower ranking and ranks 18th in the world ranking of the most powerful armies, while in 2023, the country was in 15th place, and in 2022 it was in 22nd place, respectively.

Notably, Ukraine has worsened its position in the economic freedom ranking, being among the countries with the lowest level of economic freedom in the world. This is stated in the report "Economic Freedom of the World" from the Canadian Fraser Institute.
