The Independent: Arahamiya at Trump's inauguration - an important signal for Ukraine.
The leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, David Arahamiya, stated that his presence at Donald Trump's inauguration indicates a possible continuation of support for Ukraine from the new U.S. administration. He was one of the few foreign officials allowed to attend the ceremony, which took place inside the Capitol building due to low temperatures.
Arahamiya noted that efforts are currently underway to organize meetings at the interparliamentary and other levels.
According to a source close to the Trump administration, this event signals Trump's intent to secure a good deal for Ukraine. However, it should be noted that Trump halted all foreign aid except for Israel and Egypt, and has been critical of President Zelensky, partially blaming him for the war with Russia.
