After more than 10 years in German clubs, where Andrey Voronin made a name for himself in European football, the player decided to move to England and accepted the offer from 'Liverpool'. In one season in England, the Ukrainian played 27 matches, mostly as a substitute, and scored six goals. He could not establish himself in the starting lineup of the team and went on loan to 'Hertha' in Berlin. In the Bundesliga, he felt back in his element and scored 11 goals in 27 matches, while his team finished fourth. At the end of the season, the player wanted to stay in Berlin, but the club management did not have enough funds to buy the player.
Andrey Voronin had to return to Liverpool, where the coach made it clear he did not count on the Ukrainian. The Ukrainian decided to leave England and signed a 3-year contract with 'Dynamo' in Moscow in January 2010. The transfer fee was 2.5 million euros.
Since 2002, A. Voronin has been a player of the Ukrainian national team, for which he has played 63 matches and scored 6 goals.
After the Euro 2012 match against England, he announced his retirement from the Ukrainian national team.
On July 30, 2012, due to disagreements with the head coach of Dynamo Moscow Sergey Silkin, he went on loan to 'Fortuna' until June 15, 2013.

In January 2017, he took over 'Büderich', a club in the seventh German league. During his time as a coach, Voronin was in charge for six months. During this time, he played 15 matches: won six, drew twice, and lost seven times. He was supposed to be promoted to the highest - sixth - league, but he failed to do so. On June 14 of the same year, Voronin left his position as head coach of the club.
On September 19, 2017, Voronin entered the coaching staff of the Ukrainian national team and became a scout coach.
In October 2020, Andrey Voronin joined the coaching staff of Dynamo Moscow.
On March 1, 2022, against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he left his position at Dynamo, mutually terminating the contract and leaving Russia.

Family: Andrey has a wife and four children. The footballer's wife is Yulia from Odessa, their son is Andrey (2007), their daughter is Sonya (2008), and another son is Daniel (2015), and Andrey also has a daughter Maria (2006) from his first marriage.
