Electricity tariff will increase by 15%: what awaits Ukrainians.
Economic justification of electricity tariffs
According to inkorr.com: An energy expert emphasized that the price for electricity transmission should be economically justified and comply with legislative requirements. The calculation of costs for supporting electricity producers from renewable sources should also be based on realistic indicators.
The issue of debts to 'green' energy producers remains unresolved. This may lead to new lawsuits, increased debt pressure, and reduced investment attractiveness of Ukraine.
The impact of financing on the energy sector
The expert stressed that creating a new deficit in funding special obligations could negatively affect the country. He noted that the obligations imposed on NEC 'Ukrenergo' by law should have sufficient financial support for their implementation.
Tariff changes
According to the Regulator, the electricity transmission tariff may rise to 786.74 UAH/MWh (+14.6%), for green metallurgy - to 428.63 UAH/MWh (+19.2%), and the dispatch management tariff may reach 110.15 UAH/MWh.
The increase in electricity tariffs is due to the necessity of economically justified expenses to ensure the development of the energy sector. This issue is extremely important for investment stability in Ukraine and requires careful consideration to avoid financial difficulties for producers and consumers.
