According to Novyny.live: Mykola Kalashnyk confirmed that six people lost their lives in the Russian strike on the Kyiv region on July 6. He offered his condolences in a statement:
'Sadly, the number of fatalities from the enemy attack on Kyivshchyna has increased to six. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families and loved ones of those who died.' Mykola Kalashnyk
The assault also left 14 residents wounded, including two members of the State Emergency Service (SES). Rescue workers remain on the scene, providing aid to the injured.
During the evacuation efforts in Vyshneve, more than 600 people were relocated. When an air raid siren sounded, emergency personnel guided 117 individuals from shelters. Authorities are continuing to assist victims and ensure the safety of local residents.
This attack underscores the ongoing escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, now in its third year, and highlights the persistent threat to civilians. While the swift response of emergency services demonstrates readiness and efficiency, it also reveals the tragic scale of the event and the urgent need for stronger civilian protection measures in the region.
