According to UATV: A massive Russian assault on the Ukrainian capital has left 12 people dead and 49 injured, among them five children. The strike targeted residential buildings across multiple districts of the city, including Podilskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi. Beyond homes, the attack also damaged schools, kindergartens, and shops. In response, the city has declared a day of mourning for tomorrow.

Official and Rescue Worker Responses

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko addressed the situation, stating that

“Moscow’s claims that the targets were military installations do not match reality”

Additionally, rescue worker Svitlana Vodolaga commented,

“there is always a risk of structural collapse, but our emergency teams have gained immense experience during this war”
