The government guarantees: gas and heating tariffs will not rise this winter.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian consumers can be assured: gas and heating tariffs will remain unchanged in the upcoming heating season. This was reported by the Odessa City Council. The ban on tariff increases is already in effect in Ukraine and is enshrined in legislation, noted Odessa Deputy Mayor Anna Pozdnyakova.
The government's plan for changes
The government plans to amend regulatory acts concerning the price of gas for distributed generation and procurement agreements. In addition, the reform of the centralized heating system with mandatory installation of individual heating points in residential buildings is also envisaged.
These initiatives will help the government more effectively control heating supply, reduce energy costs, and promote energy conservation. The introduction of new service standards and requirements for companies engaged in heating supply will also contribute to improving the situation with energy service payments in Ukraine.
In the energy situation in Ukraine, such decisions can significantly affect the well-being of consumers. It is currently important for changes in the management of utilities to become more transparent and efficient, as this affects not only comfort but also the financial burden on the population.
