Utility Bills to Stay Flat in Ukraine for February 2026.
Stable Rates for Electricity, Gas, and Water in February 2026
According to Novyny.live: Households in Ukraine will see no changes to their electricity, gas, and water tariffs in February 2026, as the rates set previously will remain in effect. This price freeze provides welcome certainty for consumers amid ongoing economic pressures. The electricity tariff will stand at 4.32 UAH per 1 kWh starting February 1, 2026, and these rates are guaranteed to remain unchanged at least until April 30, 2026.
Similarly, the price of natural gas for residential consumers will stay fixed at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This rate is part of the 'Fixed' tariff plan, which will also remain valid until April 30, 2026. The government's decision to maintain these prices is intended to support household financial stability during a challenging period for the national economy.
Water Supply Charges
For water services in Kyiv, the combined cost of water supply and wastewater disposal will be 30.38 UAH per cubic meter. This total breaks down to 16.16 UAH for supply and 14.22 UAH for drainage. It is notable that the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities has not revised water tariffs since February 24, 2022. Consequently, consumers can expect consistent pricing for these essential services in the coming months.
The decision to freeze utility tariffs in February 2026 reflects a government effort to maintain social stability by shielding citizens from price hikes on essential services. While consumers will likely welcome the predictability for their household budgets, observers note that future tariff policy may need to adapt depending on the broader economic recovery.
