According to The Sun: 17-year-old golfer unexpectedly died during a game with friends in his hometown.

Hadden Kelly from Georgia collapsed in Dodge County on Monday.

“He could leave, as he usually finished first. He cared. He stayed to support his team,” the message said.

“What a testament to his character! We love Hadden and his family!

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”

Smith also noted that he believes Hadden had every chance to become a professional golfer.

According to the Georgia State Golf Association, Hadden had two top ten finishes in his 2025 tournaments.

He placed fifth at the regional qualifying tournament in Spring Hill from June 30 to July 1.
