Return of festive treats at TESCO

According to The Sun: TESCO has started selling Mr Kipling festive cakes again in mid-August, and customers are already buying them up actively.

Festive Bakewells from this brand have already appeared on the supermarket shelves in six-packs.

These cakes with almond sponge, plum and raspberry puree under icing and colored sprinkles are also available on the Tesco website.

“Closer look at Mr Kipling Festive Bakewells, which are back available at Tesco.”

Many customers commented happily about the return of these holiday treats.

One of them wrote: “Love these always get them”, while another emphasized that these cakes are his favorites.

Another buyer noted that festive Bakewells are practically the same as the popular cherry Bakewells from Mr Kipling, just “without the cherry” and with colored sprinkles.

However, one Facebook user expressed doubts: “These are probably going to taste like all other Mr Kipling cakes, just too sweet and sickly.”

For those who want to dive into the Christmas spirit sooner, six-packs of festive Bakewells are already on sale in Tesco stores for £2.50.

First Christmas products in other supermarkets

TESCO is not the only supermarket that has begun selling Christmas products before the summer ends.

Morrisons has already launched the sale of meat pies in August. One shopper in Sheffield spotted these treats on the shelves last week.

A photo of six meat pies costing £1.50 was posted on Instagram account @newfoodspotteruk. Their expiration date ends on August 29 – almost four months before Christmas.

In addition to the classic ones, there are pies with more sophisticated fillings (£2) and puff pastry pies (£1).

Some customers were outraged that the pies appeared on the shelves so early, one commented: “Get stuffed it’s still summer.”

Recently, shoppers at B&M were surprised to discover Christmas sets in stores. They contained classic chocolate brands like Cadbury, Nestle, Galaxy and Reese’s.

One photo of festive treats was shared in the Facebook group Dansway Gifts and Bargains UK, where a buyer emphasized that the store already has a lot of other Christmas chocolate.

Some budget shoppers felt it was too early, but others admitted they would still “munch” them.

Shoppers also noticed that boxes of Cadbury Roses, Heroes, and Quality Street are already on the shelves of major supermarkets.

TESCO and Morrisons have already started selling chocolate sets earlier. These sets are priced at £7 each, or £6 for members of the Morrisons More program and £5.95 with a Tesco Clubcard.

Thus, the holidays are being prepared in advance on supermarket shelves, indicating a growing demand for festive products. Consumers are actively responding to these novelties, and judging by the sentiments on social media, the demand for festive treats will only increase. With Christmas just around the corner, and major retail chains ready for the holiday rush, even more offers can be expected soon.
