The Hill: Trump Plans to Split the Dictators' Alliance Using Ukraine.
According to The Hill, the new US President Donald Trump plans to use the Ukrainian issue to break the alliance between Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea if he returns to the White House.
At one of the campaign rallies, Trump sharply criticized the Biden administration for "allowing Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and others to group together."
Experts in international policy note that although the war in Ukraine has strengthened cooperation between these countries, their alliance is primarily based on a shared desire to counter American influence rather than on natural partnership.
"Trump approaches each of them bilaterally and without strong support from our allies," warns Andrea Kendall-Taylor, director of the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for a New American Security, adding that such an approach could weaken the US positions.
David Kramer, executive director of the George Bush Institute, emphasizes the importance of supporting Ukraine: "Dictatorships watch what we do... The best way to counter them is to help Ukraine achieve victory."
A group of experts in international policy ("Ukrainian hawks") is currently trying to convince Trump that ensuring Ukraine's victory over Russia will be the most effective way to counter the anti-American autocracy alliance.
