On Sunday, July 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting where they discussed strategic steps and management transformation. Zelensky reported this on his Telegram.During the meeting, it was announced that the government is preparing an update on state support for Ukrainians, including modernization of childbirth payments and support for mothers in the first years after childbirth. Details on this are promised to be published already on Monday, July 14. In addition, the implementation of the initiative with a school package has begun, which will allow nearly 180 thousand Ukrainian families to receive state support for preparing their children for school. Zelensky also emphasized funding for free meals in Ukrainian schools, particularly for children from 1st to 4th grades and in frontline areas.The President also stated the need to conduct an audit of agreements with partners, particularly in the fields of defense, investment, energy, and social resilience. Preparing for management transformation, reducing expenditures, and maximum mobilization of resources to protect Ukraine and its citizens are also important steps that the government plans to implement. This measure will also allow the optimization of the state apparatus and redirect resources to the most important tasks.
