In Mariupol, occupiers are forcing locals out of their homes.
The acting head of the Mariupol District Council, Vadym Pikuz, reported that the housing situation in the city is extremely difficult. The occupiers are taking apartments from residents, forcing them to live on the streets.
Pikuz mentioned this on the live broadcast of Ranok.LIVE.
'The situation is complicated, there is pressure on people regarding housing. There have been many video appeals to the new 'mayor', as many houses have been demolished, but no apartments have been provided to the people.'
He stated that more and more people are ending up on the streets, and the occupiers continue to 'seize' the apartments of Ukrainians who have left Mariupol. It is currently unknown who this housing is being given to as many people remain on the streets.
'The situation with housing is indeed worsening, people no longer know where to turn. They are living simply on the streets, in basements, in garages.'
It is worth noting that there is a critical shortage of drinking water in Mariupol. The occupiers are supplying contaminated resources through the water supply that are unsuitable for use.
It has also become known that the Russians are restoring Soviet-era artifacts in Mariupol.
The housing situation in Mariupol is getting worse, as occupiers are taking apartments from residents, which forces people to sleep on the streets. It is still unclear to whom these apartments are being given, and the city is also experiencing a significant shortage of drinking water due to the dangerous contamination of the water supply.
