Trump may offer Putin assistance in exchange for peace in Ukraine
According to The Hill, newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump intends to make a proposal to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin regarding peace in Ukraine.
It is noted that Russia is struggling to cope with sanctions and other issues, especially in the field of its space program. To enhance its potential, Russia plans to build a new space station and expand cooperation with China.
Analytical data shows that the Russian space program has faced significant difficulties since the annexation of Crimea. Thus, Trump may offer Putin participation in NASA's 'Artemis' program in exchange for ending the war in Ukraine.
This would provide Moscow with access to advanced American technologies and partnerships in lunar exploration. Additionally, the U.S. is already considering a new strategy regarding a moratorium on Russian assets.
