According to The Sun: Thomas Frank expressed the possibility of Harry Kane's return to 'Tottenham', where he gained significant popularity.

The England captain, who recently celebrated his 32nd birthday, has a buyout clause in his contract with 'Bayern' for £56.7 million, which activates at the end of the season.

Tottenham has priority in negotiations concerning Kane, who joined the German club for £104 million in August 2023, and Coach Frank would gladly sign him again.

“There are many Tottenham fans — including myself — who would love to see Kane back. He is a top player,” Frank said.

“I don't think he will make this decision right now. He was the top scorer last year and won the championship. He is showing fantastic results. I don't know what he thinks. I am a traveler; I enjoy traveling, I love discovering new places. He has been here for many years, so why not enjoy Bavaria a little longer?”

“But he is always welcome. If he wants to join us, he will be more than welcome.”

Kane scored an incredible 98 goals in 103 matches for 'Bayern'. Last year, the club won the Bundesliga title, which was his first trophy in his career after scoring 280 goals for 'Tottenham'.

Harry signed a four-year contract in Munich, but in July, when he turns 33, he will have just 12 months left on his deal.

It is now expected that Kane feels comfortable in Germany, and should he leave, 'Barcelona' may show interest, as their forward Robert Lewandowski is already 37 years old.

However, a return to the English Premier League would give the record holder of the 'Three Lions' team with 74 goals the chance to compete for Alan Shearer's record of 260 Premier League goals.

Kane is undoubtedly the all-time top scorer for 'Tottenham', with 213 goals in the Premier League, leaving him just 47 goals shy of the record. Based on his current statistics, this could be achieved in two seasons.

Top scorers in Premier League history

  1. Alan Shearer – 260
