Thomas Tuchel has closed the door for Kyle Walker in the England national team.
Walker’s England career ends
According to The Sun: Thomas Tuchel has announced that Kyle Walker’s career with the England national team is over. The 35-year-old defender last played in a match against Albania in March. He has already made 96 international appearances and has been one of the key players on the team.

Tuchel has chosen Reece James from Chelsea and Jed Spence from Tottenham, both of whom can also play as left-backs. Even the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real was not enough reason for Walker's return.
The six-time Premier League champion likely feels downcast as he has participated in all six of Burn's matches in the top division this season. Nevertheless, Tuchel has made it clear that Walker’s career with the national team is finished, noting that he did not call the defender about his last call-up.
Tuchel confirmed that he did not communicate with Walker, answering 'no' to the question of whether he had spoken to the defender in the past 24 hours.
This response contrasts with the situation where Tuchel reached out to the six other excluded players, explaining to them the reasons why they were not included in the squad.

The Importance of Maintaining the Squad
Tuchel noted that changes in the squad could affect his authority. 'Belgrade was at a new level. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or perhaps a mix of the group. Who knows? It was the best witness in my career, it was the best game,' he remarked.
“I wouldn’t want to leave someone who performed at such a level because it would undermine my words,' Tuchel explained.
Tuchel's stated comments indicate a shift in approaches to squad formation. The coach is currently focused on new performers, which may suggest a desire to refresh the team ahead of future international competitions. It is important to monitor Tuchel's further decisions and the reaction to these changes. Read also
