Why Citizens Are Recognized as Temporarily Unfit

Some military conscripts have received the status 'temporarily unfit for military service' at local military centers.

One person asked lawyers when those recognized as temporarily unfit can be mobilized.

'You can get a deferral only for a period of 6 to 12 months if you have been recognized as temporarily unfit by the medical commission,' emphasized the lawyer.

'In other cases, you will not be sent for a repeated medical commission, but you need to have a certificate about the status of temporary unfitness,' added the lawyer.

Conditions for Mobilization of the Unfit

Ayvazyan explained that the status 'temporarily unfit' is temporary, and after the expiration of the term, the situation changes.

'After the expiration of the term, you will be examined again by the medical commission, which will decide your fitness for military service,' emphasized the lawyer.

Thus, citizens who have been temporarily recognized as unfit may be called to service in certain cases, but only after a repeated medical examination.
