President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his evening address about the situation at the front and the consequences of the Russian attack on the city of Sumy, where 9 people died.

The Commander-in-Chief noted the successes of certain military units in destroying enemy equipment and personnel. The actions of the Special Operations Forces were also commended.

'It is very important that each day gives us new results and that these results are the enemy's losses, Russia's losses,' emphasized the President.

Zelensky also held a conversation with the head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov regarding various scenarios and prospects for further actions.

The President paid special attention to the situation in Sumy, where as a result of an attack by a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle, 9 people were killed, and another 13 were injured, including a child. 'This is already the typical tactic of Russia – to destroy the lives of many families, entire houses,' emphasized the head of state.

On the foreign policy front, conversations took place with the presidents of Lithuania and Lebanon. The issue of European unity and strengthening the continent's capabilities was discussed with the Lithuanian colleague Gitanas Nauseda. With the President of Lebanon, issues of stability and food security were discussed.
