NABU and SAP charged MP Skorokhod: a bribe of 250 thousand dollars.

According to ТСН: On December 5, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) conducted searches in the apartment of people's deputy Anna Skorokhod. According to the investigation, she may be involved in a criminal group suspected of extorting a bribe of 250 thousand US dollars for including a competitor in the sanctions lists of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

Who is Anna Skorokhod

Anna Kostiantynivna Skorokhod was born on January 14, 1990, in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region. In 2013, she graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts and the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a degree in law.

Prior to becoming a politician, Skorokhod worked as a lawyer in the Vyshhorod City Council, a legal advisor at CJSC 'M-Service' and was the deputy director of organizational and legal issues at LLC 'Construction Combine 'Progress'.

Skorokhod was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 as a representative of the Servant of the People party and worked in the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services. In November 2019, she was expelled from the Servant of the People faction.

In 2020, she joined the parliamentary group 'For the Future' and became the founder of the NGO 'Mothers of Ukraine Association'. Since September 21, 2023, she has been the head of the Temporary Investigation Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate possible violations in the Ministry of Defense.

Personal life

Anna Skorokhod was married to Oleksiy Alyakin, a Russian businessman who obtained Ukrainian citizenship in 2013. He founded the company 'Progress' and employed his wife there. They have a son from this marriage.

Oleksiy Alyakin worked as the deputy head of the industrial department of the Russian Ministry of Minerals. At the end of 2013, Skorokhod's husband was declared bankrupt in Moscow, and later he moved to Ukraine.

In 2023, he changed his last name to Levkovskyi, created a new business in construction, while Skorokhod announced her divorce and new relationship with deputy Anton Polyakov, who died in 2021 under unclear circumstances.

In the 2019 elections, Skorokhod received significant support and was elected to parliament. In November, she accused her faction of detaining her ex-husband, to which the faction leader responded with accusations of corruption, after which she was expelled from the party.

In 2020, Skorokhod called the process of decommunization 'madness' and called for respecting history. In the summer of 2023, she accused the commander of the marine corps of appointing relatives of generals to command positions, which leads to losses.

NABU and SAP launched an investigation into the criminal group led by the people's deputy. According to sources, Skorokhod is suspected of accepting a bribe. Allegedly, she and her accomplices offered a company representative 250 thousand dollars to include a competitor in the NSDC sanctions list, receiving an advance of 125 thousand dollars.

At the same time, Skorokhod stated that her activities are transparent, and she sees the actions of law enforcement as 'pressure on the opposition because of her principled stance.'

'I have nothing to hide, my activities are on display. However, the timing and context of these events suggest unambiguous conclusions: I see this as direct pressure on the opposition and an attempt to block my political activity due to my principled position.'

Anna Skorokhod and her possible connection to the 'Midas' case

Skorokhod is mentioned in the NABU investigation called 'Midas', which pertains to corruption in the energy sector. The former head of 'Ukrenergo' stated that an assistant of the traitor planned to use Skorokhod for submitting requests.

The deputy denies her involvement in the case, claiming she was unaware of the requests attributed to her.

'I consider this an information attack by representatives of globalists and Soros in Ukraine, as this nonsense was spread exclusively on their information resources.'
