The head of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, Oleksandr Merezhko, reported on US President Donald Trump's plan for ending the war in Ukraine. He noted that this plan is either ready or nearing completion. Merezhko, who returned with an optimistic mood after his visit to Washington, pointed out that there is less aggressive rhetoric and more constructive approach to Ukraine. He also emphasized the importance of the US adhering to the principle that such issues cannot be resolved without Ukraine's involvement.
