Trump promised to lower energy prices to combat inflation.
Trump on fighting inflation and economic stability
U.S. President Donald Trump stated during his speech before Congress that his administration is working to ensure economic stability and combat rising prices. He criticized the previous administration for creating an economic crisis.
Trump noted that under Biden's government, the prices of energy and food have risen significantly, particularly the price of eggs. He stated that one of the priorities in combating rising prices is a significant reduction in energy costs.
Trump also urged Congress to lower taxes for all citizens. He accused the Biden administration of hindering the development of new oil and gas projects and the construction of pipelines. The President announced the construction of a gas pipeline in Alaska, which has already attracted interest from Japan, South Korea, and other countries.
