The Pentagon Chief Named a Dream Dinner: Trump, Putin, and Zelensky at One Table.
According to ТСН: U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared his thoughts on a 'perfect dinner' he would like to host, inviting the presidents of the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine: Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Volodymyr Zelensky.
This information was expressed by Hegseth during a podcast with journalist Katie Miller.
A Dinner for Peace
Hegseth means a dinner where the heads of the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine would gather.
‘I think it would be President Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Zelensky. And we will see what comes of it,’ said the Pentagon chief in response to a question about whom he would invite to dinner.
The minister emphasized that it would be 'a dinner for peace.' He also noted that there should be steaks and a 'salad with Russian dressing' on the table.
Recalling President Donald Trump's words, Hegseth noted that Trump is willing to meet with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky to finalize a peace agreement. Trump emphasized that the document must be at its concluding stages.
‘I look forward to meeting with Zelensky and Putin, but only when the agreement to end this war is finalized or close to completion,’ says the American leader.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt added that the administration is 'very optimistic' about the possibility of reaching a peace agreement.
Such statements from the U.S. Defense Secretary indicate hope for potential meetings among the leaders of the three countries, which could significantly impact developments in Ukraine and the international dialogue for peace. The future of the region and global stability depend on it.
