Trump considers supplying Ukraine with long-range JASSM missiles - media.
U.S. President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of allowing the supply of long-range JASSM missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These missiles are expected to equip the fleet of F-16 fighter jets of the Ukrainian Air Force.
According to sources from Military Watch Magazine, White House Chief Donald Trump is contemplating the transfer of long-range JASSM missiles to Ukraine.
It is noted that rumors about the possible supply of JASSM have emerged amidst claims from two other unnamed sources that Washington is considering sending an unnamed class of long-range missiles capable of striking targets deep within Russia.
It is expected that JASSM missiles could enhance Ukrainian F-16s, as they will serve as carriers. At the same time, launches could be carried out deep behind enemy lines.
It is worth noting that American JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) missiles are precision-guided long-range cruise missiles designed to hit well-protected ground targets while remaining outside the range of enemy air defense.
Recently, it became known that Donald Trump confirmed that Ukraine will receive Patriots from the U.S.
We also reported that Donald Trump is dissatisfied with the actions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
The U.S. President will help Ukraine acquire long-range JASSM missiles, which can significantly strengthen the country's defense capabilities in the conflict with Russia. This could be an important step in the strategy to deter Russian aggression in the region.
