US presidential candidate from the Republican Party Donald Trump stated that America should exit the war in Ukraine. However, according to him, the current White House administration has no intention of doing so.
In his speech, he referred to the current US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, reports Reuters.
"Biden and Kamala have dragged us into this war in Ukraine, and now they cannot pull us out. They cannot pull us out," Trump said in Georgia.
Reuters notes that the USA does not have troops in Ukraine, but the country has provided military and humanitarian aid worth billions of dollars.
In turn, Trump stated that he would achieve negotiations. But if he is not elected president, the USA will be stuck in the Russia-Ukraine war.
"I think we will be stuck in this war if I am not elected president. I will do it. I will achieve negotiations, I will go. We have to go. Biden says: 'We will not go until we win.' What happens if they win," Trump said.
