Zelensky announced more defense packages from partners — address.
On Friday, July 11, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced new measures to strengthen the country's defense capabilities. According to him, work is actively underway with international partners regarding the supply of weapons, the development of domestic production, and support for the army.
The head of state noted that he held meetings with military officials who reported on the situation at the front and the progress of Ukrainian operations. Zelensky thanked the defenders for their resilience and emphasized the importance of promptly implementing all agreements with partners to ensure that the strengthening of defense capabilities is felt in the near future.
'It is necessary to implement each agreement as quickly as possible in order to have more forces, means, air defense systems, and protection of the sky. This is a key priority', the president emphasized.
According to Zelensky, positive signals have already been received from allies, particularly from the USA and European countries. There is an opportunity to receive assistance, and next week, Ukrainian soldiers will continue cooperation with American colleagues and prepare for the receipt of European defense packages.
The president also expressed hope for decisive sanctions against Russia, noting that international pressure must lead to results. In addition, he expects reports from officials and the President's Office team regarding each agreement with partners, after which appropriate personnel decisions will be made.
'Glory to Ukraine!' — concluded his address the president.
It is also worth noting that US President Donald Trump announced the achievement of a new agreement between the United States, NATO, and Ukraine regarding the supply of weapons. This indicates support for Zelensky from the American leader. In addition, the Ukrainian president held talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk regarding cooperation in weapons production and strengthening the country's defense.
