Trump on Putin's takeover: I don't think it will be necessary

According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump expressed his opinion regarding the possibility of the capture of Russian President Vladimir Putin. During a press conference, in response to journalists' questions, he stated that he does not consider it necessary.

Trump's comment on Putin

A journalist pointed out to Trump the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who hinted at the possibility of actions against another dictator, referring to Putin. Trump responded:

"I don't think it will be necessary".

US President also emphasized that he has always had "great relationships" with Putin, but expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the conflict, which he believed was easy to resolve, is still ongoing.

Trump on Putin's fears

In response to the next question, Trump stated that Putin "fears" the United States:

"President Putin does not fear Europe, he fears the United States of America, which I lead".

He also added that Europe is "changing" and needs to mature:

"Europe needs to get its act together. I love Europe".

Zelensky's statement on actions against authoritarian leaders

Let us remind you, President Zelensky, commenting on the possibility of Americans capturing Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, hinted at the need for decisive actions against other authoritarian leaders, stating:

"If it can be like that with dictators, then the United States of America knows what to do next".

Zelensky also expressed the opinion that the US could conduct a military operation to capture Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov to pressure Putin to end the war. These statements sparked a reaction from the Kremlin representative in Chechnya.

The words of both presidents highlight the tension in international politics and raise questions about what the further actions of the US will be in the context of authoritarian regimes. They demonstrate different approaches to resolving global conflicts and reflect the complex situation faced by countries encountering threats from leaders such as Putin and Maduro.
