Transfers Dream Team of Round 7: Who will be Player of the Week?

According to The Sun: The managers of DREAM TEAM can confirm their transfers by 6:30 PM on October 3. Don't miss the kickoff on Friday night!

As always, we have prepared a list of transfer targets to consider.

Dream Team

Gabriel (£4.9m)

Many DREAM TEAM managers have probably already planned to recruit Arsenal defenders before Round 7, as their matches before the international break in November look promising, starting with the home game against West Ham.

The reasoning behind this tactic became even more compelling after Gabriel scored 19 points in Round 6.

This authoritative center-back scored a dramatic winner at St. James' Park and once again demonstrated his threat from set pieces, helping the team keep a clean sheet in the game against Olympiakos on Wednesday night.

As of this writing, Gabriel sits third in the overall standings with 59 points.

His teammate Jurrien Timber (£5.2m) could also be a great option.

The choice for Gabriel seems financially more viable given the recent price changes.

One concern is his potential injury sustained during the Champions League, but after the match, Mikel Arteta reassured:

“I think he will be fine. He could have continued, but we decided not to take any risks.”

The Spanish manager will meet with journalists again before the Round 7 deadline.

Jérémy Doku (£4m)

This is a classic case: we told you so.

Last week, we recommended this clever Belgian winger, and he proved our trust by scoring 19 points.

In the game against Burnley, he scored 17 points through two assists and maximum bonuses.

This week, we are bringing Doku back on board as he has evolved from a promising option to one of the top midfielders in the game.

Manchester City will play against Brentford on Sunday—the matchup looks quite favorable, as only Burnley has allowed more shots on target in the Premier League this season than Brentford.

We don't need to explain why Erling Haaland (£7.7m) is an essential player, but many bold managers who ignored this forward have quietly admitted this week that they've made a mistake.

Ismaïla Sarr (£4.3m)

The Crystal Palace player made his comeback from injury with a stunning performance, scoring ten points in the match against Liverpool last week.

He only needed nine minutes to find the net, helping the "Eagles" defeat the league leaders.

Sarr has scored three goals in four games this season, averaging 7.5 points per game.

Currently, only three midfielders (with at least three games) have a better average.

Crystal Palace is the only team in the Premier League that remains unbeaten so far, and Oliver Glasner hopes to maintain this trend in the game against Everton on Sunday.

It is also worth noting that Sarr is expected to play today in the match against Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Europa Conference League, which could impact his fitness.

Also worth considering are Jean-Philippe Mateta (£4.6m), Dean Henderson (£3.7m), and all key defenders as solid options.

Nick Woltemade (£3.9m)

In his first four starts, Nick Woltemade scored three goals and netted in games against Arsenal and Union Saint-Gilloise in Round 6.

His price will obviously rise after the deadline, as the next matches for the "Forts" look quite favorable.

However, it should be mentioned that Joane Vissa (£4.5m) will be returning soon, so there may be risks regarding Woltemade's playing time after the international break. Nonetheless, he has good chances in the match against Nottingham Forest in Round 7.

Alternatively, Anthon Gordon (£4.7m) has caused a stir after scoring 23 points in Round 6, and the fact that he is the first penalty taker for Newcastle makes him even more appealing.

As we monitor transfer targets, it’s important to note that players who can increase their points and impact on the game become crucial for teams. Details about potential injuries and games that might affect their form remain key points in the decisions of DREAM TEAM managers.
