According to UATV: A key diplomatic meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, which was scheduled for March 9, has been postponed. The delay is linked to the evolving situation concerning Iran. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the postponement on March 9, stating that his nation's negotiating team remains in constant, 24/7 communication with their American counterparts.
No new date or location for the talks has been set. President Zelenskyy noted that his team had gained intelligence on Russia's plans, thanks to the work of Ukrainian intelligence services.
'The team reported information about the Russian side's plans, as far as we know, primarily thanks to the activity of our intelligence,' said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Critical Need for Coordination and Diplomacy
Zelenskyy further stressed the importance of strategic coordination during conflict, remarking:
'We cannot give evil opportunities for coordination, but the protection of life must be clearly coordinated.' - Volodymyr Zelenskyy.These comments signal Ukraine's readiness to resume negotiations at any feasible moment.
