Ukrainian President Meets NATO Secretary General in Ankara
According to UATV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met in Ankara on July 7 to discuss defense cooperation, protection against Russian strikes, and Ukraine’s path toward deeper integration with the Alliance. The meeting took place ahead of the NATO summit, where Ukraine’s security situation is expected to dominate the agenda.
The discussions focused on the supply of missiles for air defense systems and other critical security matters. Zelensky traveled to Ankara to attend the summit, where he highlighted the urgent challenges facing his country. He stated:
