According to The Sun: A 44-year-old businessman has admitted to raping a teenage girl as she slept on an international flight.
An Indian citizen confessed in court that he raped the teenager during the flight while she was asleep on the international flight.
Court documents revealed that the man began touching the girl after she fell asleep under the blanket. He hugged her by the shoulder and then touched her thigh. The attack became more serious when he put his hand under her trousers and committed sexual violence.
The victim realized the attack but froze, unable to move or speak during the assault. The man even forced her hand over his knees. When she bravely reported the incident to the flight attendant, the police were called.
The entrepreneur, whose identity remains anonymous, admitted in court that the girl did not give consent. He acknowledged that he knew she was a minor but was not sure of her exact age.
The Bulach District Court found him guilty of rape and sexual acts with a child. Despite the conviction, he was sentenced to a suspended sentence of one and a half years and was released immediately due to serving a sentence since March.
As punishment, the man is banned from entering Switzerland for five years and is permanently prohibited from engaging in any activities related to minors. He was also ordered to pay legal fees of approximately £8,250 and referred to the Swiss migration office for deportation.
Haunted by the horrific story of rape aboard a plane, the man identified as an Indian citizen has been convicted for his terrible actions, although he received a suspended sentence and has already been released. He will have to pay restitution for such terrible violations he committed beyond the law.
