Explosion on the railway in Russia: what is known so far
In the Novoskolsky district of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, an incident occurred when a train ran over an explosive device. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to him, the explosives were planted under the tracks, which led to the explosion. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.
The railway contact network was damaged, causing train traffic to be halted. Currently, work is underway to restore the infrastructure at the explosion site. Several trains were delayed due to this incident.
According to media reports, the explosion occurred around 19:00 on May 25. As a result, a support for the power line fell onto the tracks and damaged the railway contact network.
Also, in various parts of Russia, similar incidents have been reported where protesters or opposition members carried out sabotage on railway connections.
These events demonstrate the tense situation in various regions of Russia, where the population expresses its protest against the actions of the authorities or is dissatisfied with themselves.
