The White House criticized the deleted post by Elon Musk, in which he asked why Trump faced assassination attempts while Biden and Harris did not.

In the post, Musk expressed surprise that no one had tried to kill Biden and Kamala.

"And no one even tries to kill Biden/Kamala"

Initially, Musk refused to delete the post, but he eventually did and said it was a joke.

The White House Press Secretary reminded that Biden and Harris condemned violence and called for an end to rhetoric that could lead to more violence.

Representatives from X have yet to comment on the situation.
