In Dnipro, on Friday, May 23, a district court judge on a motorcycle ran over a pedestrian who was crossing the road at an unauthorized place. The pedestrian died on the spot from the injuries received. The State Bureau of Investigation is working on this fact.

On the highway within the village of Kuchakiv in the Boryspil district, a driver hit a 10-year-old girl, who died from her injuries. Also, in the Kirovohrad region, a fatal traffic accident occurred, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old driver.
From January to April 2025, there were 6,736 traffic accidents with fatalities and injuries on the roads of Ukraine, but the number of accidents increased by 4% compared to the same period last year. This indicates a worsening problem of road safety and the need to strengthen control over traffic rule violations.
