Rain on Monday: smog in Kyiv may be washed away by precipitation.
On Monday, September 8, local rains are expected in Ukraine, which may improve the air quality situation in the capital. According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, there is a 'synoptic hope' that the precipitation will help wash away the smog in Kyiv, which residents feel discomfort in their throats and have difficulty breathing.
According to inkorr.com: Rains are forecast not only in Kyiv but also in other regions of Ukraine throughout the day and evening. The southern regions and western regions will be the exception. 'Kyiv may receive at least some of that desired moisture from the atmosphere tomorrow or at least see humid clouds,' Didenko added.
Temperature regime and other features
In the Carpathian region and Transcarpathia, rains are possible in the morning and evening, while the day of September 8 promises clear weather. At the same time, Crimea and the Sea of Azov are expecting strong easterly winds.
The temperature will remain comfortable for the beginning of September. It will be pleasantly cool at night. During the day, the maximum temperature in most regions of Ukraine will fluctuate between +23 to +28 degrees, while in the south it may reach +30 degrees. In Kyiv regions, along with possible rains, the temperature will be around +25 degrees.
According to forecasts, on September 9, the emergence of local rains is also not excluded. Next week, moderately warm weather is promised, however, approximately on September 17-18, a noticeable cooling is possible.
