Kyiv reports the beginning of the heating season: how many buildings have been connected to heat.
As of October 21, heating has already been turned on in over 1000 buildings of the social sphere in Kyiv, according to the Kyiv City Administration.
This includes 341 schools, 402 kindergartens, 209 medical institutions, 99 administrative buildings and institutions of social and domestic orientation, as well as one educational institution. Connections are made by individual requests from the heads of these institutions.
The department also reminded that residential buildings will start to be connected to heating when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees Celsius and below for at least three days.
Earlier it was noted that the IMF provided a rather gloomy forecast for the state of Ukrainian energy for the upcoming winter. This is due to the lack of capacity due to regular terrorist attacks by Russia on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
'Khvylya' also reported that the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned of a significant decrease in evening and night temperatures.
