Air alert declared in Kyiv and several regions due to missile threat.
In the evening of November 16, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to a missile threat. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At 15:36, the military recorded the activity of enemy tactical aviation in the southern direction. Ukrainians were warned about the threat of the use of aviation strike means.
Later, the Air Forces reported that the missile threat also exists in Chernihiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The threat also concerns Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.
At 16:50, the military recorded at least two launches of cruise missiles in the Chernihiv region. The first high-speed target was launched at 16:44.
At 16:48, the Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed the missile threat and ordered people to head to shelters.
“Attention! The air alert is related to the threat of missile weapon use! Proceed to shelters,” wrote Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
It is worth mentioning that on November 16, an enemy drone hit a residential building in Kyiv.
Also, as a result of the enemy attack on Kyiv region on November 13, there was a fire in the warehouses of enterprises.
Earlier, it was reported that on November 13, as a result of a massive attack by the Russian Federation, one person was injured, and destruction occurred. In the Brovary district of Kyiv region, a building was destroyed, and a fire broke out.
