In Kyiv, a full-fledged system for intercepting enemy drones has been deployed to enhance the air defense of the capital. The initiative has been launched under the directive of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of the 'Clean Sky' project.A budget of 260 million UAH has been allocated for the realization of the project, which will be used to purchase domestic interceptor drones and create an effective threat response system. It is also planned to establish a training center for operators and form mobile units that will be on duty in the capital and its outskirts.According to Timur Tkachенко, the project is being implemented in cooperation with the General Staff, Air Force, and other defense forces to maximize effectiveness. Emphasizing the importance and success of the project, he noted that it helps save lives and infrastructure.It should be noted that the President of Ukraine has agreed with Germany to strengthen air defense, and the Ministry of Defense announced the possibility of voluntary interception of missiles and drones over Ukrainian cities.
