Indictment against a criminal organization in Kryvyi Rih
According to Novyny.live: An indictment against eight members of a criminal organization has been sent to court in Kryvyi Rih, who embezzled budget funds for the restoration of housing and the repair of shelters. According to case materials, criminal activity lasted from 2023 to 2024, during which the group concluded 189 contracts worth over 57 million hryvnias.
As a result of their actions, the state incurred losses amounting to 2.5 million hryvnias. Among the suspects is the organizer of the scheme, who is the owner of a group of private companies and also became a city council deputy. If proven guilty, the perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

This case draws attention, particularly due to the corrupt abuses that occurred during the implementation of important social projects. It is expected that the court process will be an important step in the fight against corruption in Ukraine.
