Street battles continue in Kupiansk: Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups do not control any area.
According to inkorr.com: There is no control of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the abandoned districts of Kupiansk. The city has become a battleground for street fights with enemy formations, yet no area has been completely captured. The commander of the drone unit 'Achilles' noted that the enemy's actions are marked by high intensity, but so far there have been no recorded losses of Ukrainian forces in any of the districts.
Words of the Commander
'At the moment, there are significant numbers of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups present in Kupiansk itself. It is premature to say that the enemy has completely taken control of any area where there are no representatives of the Defense Forces,' said Fedorenko.
'Street battles are ongoing with enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups - both those aimed at taking control of certain areas and those conducting reconnaissance,' he added.
According to reports, enemy groups are gathering data to coordinate fire strikes against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They are trying to maintain control over some parts of the city, particularly the northern outskirts.
Reports that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups do not control any area in Kupiansk indicate the activity of Ukrainian defense forces and the inability of enemy troops to fully capture the city. The clarification from the commander of the drone unit 'Achilles' regarding the high intensity of the fighting and the enemy's attempts to maintain control confirms the serious efforts from both sides in this conflict.
