One of the main issues - strikes deep into Russia - will not be resolved before the US elections. This was reported by the French publication Le Monde with reference to sources.
On Friday, during the meeting of the leaders of the US, UK, France, and Germany in Berlin, no agreement was reached on allowing Ukraine to carry out long-range strikes against Russia using Western weapons.
According to the publication, the US and Germany believe that this will increase the risk of conflict escalation, while the UK and France are more positively inclined towards this idea.
"The issue remained unresolved on Friday and will not be decided until the elections in the US. The only element of agreement is that deep strikes alone are not sufficient to achieve greater military success for Ukraine," the publication reported.
Let us remind you that Germany will review its military assistance to Ukraine.
