Macron does not plan phone talks with Putin: Élysée Palace statement.
According to ТСН: The Élysée Palace has reported that there are currently no planned phone talks between French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The French president's administration stated that there have been "no contacts" between Macron and Putin recently, and that "no phone calls are scheduled at this time."
Absence of travel plans
Furthermore, the Élysée Palace confirmed that Emmanuel Macron's visit to Moscow is not being considered and is not on the agenda.
Denial of dialogue possibilities
Thus, Paris denied any assumptions about a potential development of dialogue between the French leader and Russian leadership amid the ongoing war of Russia against Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the French president communicated with the NATO Secretary-General and confirmed continued support for Ukraine.
The Kremlin also assured of Putin's readiness to "engage in dialogue" with Macron.
The situation surrounding France-Russia relations remains tense, particularly in light of military actions in Ukraine. The absence of contacts between the leaders underscores the difficulties in diplomatic relations that affect overall stability in the region. Currently, France continues to support Ukraine and work with global partners to resolve the conflict.
