Disruptions in Moldova's power system after Russia's strike on Ukraine
On Monday, August 26, it became known that as a result of a massive Russian strike on Ukraine, Moldova's power system experienced disruptions. This was reported by the Moldovan state energy enterprise Moldelectrica.
According to the source, disruptions in the joint Ukraine-Moldova power block occurred due to attacks on critically important Ukrainian infrastructure. Currently, the situation is under control, as there is sufficient local generation in the power system.
"We have enough local generation to handle minor disruptions," the Moldelectrica report notes.
Recall that today Russia attacked 15 regions of Ukraine using drones and “Kinzhal” missiles.
