The first and most important reason is the expiration of the service life indicated in the technical passport of each device.

The second reason is related to the need for meter verification.

For electronic gas meters, verification is conducted 5 years from the installation date, and for diaphragm meters, it is 8 years. During verification, specialists check the accuracy of measuring the volume of gas consumed.

The third reason for replacement is the detection of malfunctions in the device.
