NATO explained what cannot be told to Putin.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte urged to keep the details of the peace agreement in Ukraine secret from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Rutte expressed his opinion in a comment to 'Voice of America'.
The NATO Secretary General noted that public discussions of a possible peace agreement could be harmful, as it might reach Putin sooner than it should.
He also pointed out that such discussions give Putin too much information.
'Why have these conversations on television now. Let's do this a little behind closed doors, because otherwise, when he (Putin, - ed.) sits at the negotiating table, he will already know what we are going to do,' said the NATO Secretary General.
Rutte confirmed that the support for Ukraine from many European countries is unwavering.
'We are all with you (with Ukraine, - ed.). We want you to be in a strong position when you get to negotiations on your platform,' he said.
The NATO Secretary General also noted that cooperation is ongoing with the future administration of elected U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the future peace agreement in Ukraine.
'When there is (a peace, - ed.) agreement, it will be solid,' Rutte assured.
We remind that Kellogg did not rule out organizing a meeting between Zelensky and Putin in the USA.
