Power outage schedules have been canceled in several regions of Ukraine.
On November 20, power outage schedules were canceled in several regions of Ukraine. This news is reported by regional operators distributing electricity from the 'Ukrenergo' grid to consumers.
This applies to Sumy, Kharkiv, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Lviv regions.
According to the order of NEC 'Ukrenergo', scheduled hourly outages will not be applied until a separate directive is issued.
It should be noted that the situation with electricity will improve over the next few days, but a complete cancellation of the outage schedules will still take a few weeks. This was stated by the Prime Minister's energy advisor, Yuriy Boyko.
For reference, on November 17, the energy infrastructure of Ukraine was damaged as a result of a Russian attack. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported a decrease in electrical capacity at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
